Laura & the team at the Jolly Farmer  pride themselves on the traditional village values of  their pub, where locals and visitors alike are equally at home whether coming in to eat or just enjoying a fine pint and a chat.

The pub is a cottage style building dating from the 18th century and in a pretty leafy spot across the road from the national trust green, overlooked by the huge landmark lime tree, and the village church.

Home to Cookham Dean post office, the pub is indeed  the hub of the community.

We believe that the role of a traditional English pub is to serve top quality real ale. We are very proud to offer a choice of five real ales. We have been in the  CAMRA Good Beer guide for the past six years, recently winning pub of the Summer award 2009.
