Laura and her team take pride in the traditional village values of the Jolly Farmer. It is a place where visitors and locals alike feel instantly at home, whether sampling an award winning real ale, having some delicious hearty home cooking, or sharing a bottle of  Michelin starred wine with friends.

We love this time of year at the Jolly. Sitting in front of the pub, watching village life go by. Sipping a glass of Pimms or chilled Rose  wine or pint of real ale, gazing out as the light changes on our beautiful Lime tree or enjoying those long  summer evenings dining in our extensive beer garden, in our cherry orchard,  knowing the children are safely playing.

July really begins our social calendar, this weekend we hosted Cookham Dean Rugby Club summer bash and we  had the Kaffirs Pig Roast, we look forward to Cookham Dean School Fete on the 10th July and The Colonel Garratt Cricket day on the 22nd July. Watch out for TEAM JOLLY!!

It will be soon summer holidaays and if your looking to amuse the children and stay sane why not make a playdate at the pub. The children  will love  playing in the garden while you catch up with some friends over a delicious pub lunch and a  glass of wine.

I am extremely pleased to introduce my new kitchen team: Head chef Andy Hipgrave, a extremley talented local chef with an abundance of experience and a  great reputation and his second in command Neil  Armstrong, dynamite in the dessert world! Together we have created a new menu, featuring some fantastic fish dishes,  quality meats, great pies and  as well as old favourites. ( See our Food section for more details)

We have also teamed up With Noel in Deliciously French to bring new Michelin starred French  wines. We are very proud our links with the local business community.
